How We Delivered a Mining Complex from China to Magadan and Saved Our Client Months of Headaches
11 August 2025
TIS LOGISTIC successfully delivered an industrial mill and crusher — 487 tons, 1,163 m³ — in a single shipment. We independently developed the transportation plan, sourced and purchased containers (including Flat Racks), and arranged securing and loading control in China. 25 containers — one voyage — zero issues. Details below.
Our Client’s Request:
Route: Xingang (China) → Magadan (Russia)
Delivery period: June 2025
Cargo: industrial mill, crusher
Format: oversized + standard cargo, declared 487 tons, 1,163 m³, shipped in a single batch
Result: shipment delivered exactly on time, without losses; the client is satisfied, and the next phase is already in progress
Initial Situation
When the client contacted us, our manager immediately understood: this was not the kind of shipment you simply “load into a container and forget.”
We were talking about a crusher and a mill — heavy, bulky, complex industrial equipment. Which meant:
numerous elements, each requiring specific packaging,
oversized cargo requiring precise platform selection and securing,
difficulty in pre-calculating logistics,
a challenging route with the final destination — Magadan.
And all this without a detailed packing list from the client.
They simply didn’t have time to work through the calculations. Meanwhile, the deadlines were already pressing.
What We Did
1. Took away the client’s headache — not just “organized transportation”
The TIS LOGISTIC manager independently:
analyzed packaging data for each item and calculated the required number of transport units,
created stowage and placement schemes for containers (including Flat Racks),
prepared all loading instructions and passed them to our team in China.
We took responsibility where others would have required the client to “do their homework.”
2. Provided secure fastening and control through trusted contractors
In Xingang:
fastening was carried out by our long-trusted agent,
loading was supervised by an independent surveyor — with a complete photo report, documentation, and assurance that everything would go according to plan.
3. Procured containers for the client — on site
Together with our container fleet department, we sourced and purchased the required number of containers in China. This saved time and eliminated the risk of equipment shortages.
Special attention was given to Flat Rack platforms, ideal for oversized industrial equipment: reinforced, reliable, and with removable end walls for securing complex cargo.
4. 25 Containers. One Voyage. Zero Issues.
We arranged delivery in 25 containers — 20-foot, 40-foot, and Flat Rack.
Every item was secured, labeled, and documented.
We maintained control at every stage, including a final photo inspection at the transshipment port. The shipment arrived intact and undamaged — despite the long and complex route.
Result: A satisfied client and the next project already in motion
The delivery was completed successfully. Cargo received. Work continues.
For August–September, we are already planning the next shipment — this time, about 40 containers.
The cargo is ready at the factory in China, and our manager is doing the calculations. Which means — another challenge ahead, and another efficient solution we’re ready to offer from any port in China or other countries.
